Turkey Call Tune Up

 

You finally got to the place where you want to be – in the turkey woods with a boisterous tom gobbling his innards out a hundred yards away.  You’ve invested heavily in gear, travel time and training to get here.  Now it all comes down to the the first calls you make to him on your pot and peg or box call.  Make sure it will send him enticing and realistic yelps clucks and purrs, not ear grinding squeaks and squawks. To pull him in him in by his ears, your calls must be maintained.
